Meet The Team
Jay & Jody Davis
Pastor Jay & Jody Davis planted Mapleview Community Church in 1997. For the past 25 years, they have dedicated their lives to seeing the Kingdom of God flourish through the church's ministry in South Barrie. Jay and Jody have three daughters, all beyond post-secondary. Our pastors are full of life and excited for what God has in store for us as a church in the days ahead.

Lori-LynnHead

Lori-Lynn serves as the Director of Campus Ministries. Prior to moving into this role, she served as the children's pastor for fourteen years. Lori-Lynn has been married to Craig for over 25 years and has two kids, Taylor and Moriah. Her free time may be spent cooking, decorating, reading and hanging out with her friends and family.

John has a passion for helping people take another step in their faith journey, whether their initial steps or their deeper steps. He joined the Mapleview staff in the fall of 2022. He and his wife, Joanna, have three adult children, and three grandchildren. After God and his family, John loves coffee and golf, and roasts coffee beans and builds clubs. He has a Masters in Theological Studies and he and his wife have pastored in three provinces and two US states.

Will joined our team as youth pastor in 2019. He studied at Hillsong Bible College for four years, where he focused on youth ministry. Will is passionate about making Mapleview Church a place youth can call home. He wants to see youth grow in their faith no matter their background. Will is into all sports and music. He is full of energy and is super excited to hang out with and get to know everyone here at Mapleview. If you see him around say hi, he is always down to catch up and get to know new people.

Ryan grew up at Mapleview and returned to oversee our junior high program (Wired), after attending Bible College out west. He got married to his beautiful wife Ashley in 2014, and now have three beautiful children. Ryan is passionate about junior highs following Jesus into their high school years, and has a heart for missions.

Chase joined our team during the beginning of lockdown in 2020. He is our full time production director, responsible for everything from sound, livestream and lighting happening with excellence every Sunday! He is passionate about bringing creativity into all ministries at Mapleview.

Carla serves as our Creative Arts and Evangelism Director. She loves all things musical, theatrical and crafty. Carla is an ordained minister with the PAOC and has been involved in ministry, both in and outside the church for the past 20 years. She studied at Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and has a Bachelors Degree in Theology and Cross Cultural Studies. She is passionate about worship and creative expressions that bring glory to God, and is excited to be a part of the Mapleview team.

Tony joined the Mapleview Staff in Spring of 2021. He and his wife Sheri have been attending Mapleview and volunteering on the worship team for many years. Tony comes from a background of music and touring around Canada and the United States for a wide variety of musical groups.

Tim joined the Mapleview team in 2023 as the Director of Operations and facility manager. Tim and his wife Saralyn made the move to Barrie along with their three kids Kyler, Alisha and Hailey from a small village in south western Ontario where they passionately served in their local church and community for many years. Tim had 15 years experience in manufacturing management before starting his own business in 2017. The Preston family are excited to be part of the Mapleview Community and looking forward to getting involved and serving in any capacity needed.

Graphics & Roadsign Manager

Kaylie joined the Mapleview team in 2021 to manage much of the graphics content seen around the church. She has attended Mapleview since 2012 and has served on the production team in various roles since 2017. Kaylie studied digital media production at Georgian College and is passionate about continuously learning and using her skills to bring glory to God.
