MEET THE TEAM
Pastor Jay and Jody Davis have lovingly served the Mapleview Community Church family since planting the church in 1997. For more than two decades, they have remained deeply committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through every avenue of ministry.
They are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters and three wonderful sons-in-law, and the joyful grandparents of nine treasured grandchildren - truly the icing on the cake for Jay and Jody.

Lori-LynnHead
Executive Director of Church Ministries
Lori-Lynn has been part of the MCC team since 2004 and serves as Executive Pastor. With over 30 years in ministry—most of them right here at MCC—she loves helping people find a place to belong, grow in their faith, and discover more of who Jesus is.
She’s married to her husband, Craig, and they have two amazing adult kids and a wonderful son-in-law. Lori-Lynn enjoys good coffee, cooking, traveling, a good book, and all things décor.

Director of Spiritual Life and Formation
John has a passion for helping people take another step in their faith journey, whether they’re initial steps or deeper steps. He joined the Mapleview staff in the fall of 2022. He and his wife, Joanna, have three adult children, and three grandchildren. After God and his family, John loves coffee and golf, and roasts coffee beans and builds clubs. He has a Masters in Theological Studies and he and his wife have pastored in three provinces and two US states.

Director of The Kid Life
Joanna has been involved in children’s ministry for over 20 years, and joined the Mapleview staff in 2023. She loves seeing kids discover who Jesus is and grow in their love for Him. Joanna and her husband John have three married children and three amazing grandchildren. Outside of ministry, she enjoys travelling, a good cup of tea, and the simple joy of people-watching.

Director of Life Care
Paul is dedicated to helping people experience the grace and strength of Jesus in every season of life. He strongly believes in the power of prayer and the transforming work of Jesus.
Paul and his wife, Kris, value quality time with each other and with their family, especially their grandchildren. They enjoy connecting with family and friends, learning and growing, building new relationships, and sharing the message of Jesus. Together, they seek meaningful ways to serve and encourage others.

Director of The Student Life (TSL)
Ashley has been serving on the Mapleview team since the summer of 2024. Ashley, along with her husband, Jordan, have spent over a decade serving in youth ministries and have a deep passion to see young people encounter the life-changing power of God. They have two young daughters who keep them happily busy. In her free time she enjoys music and relaxing with her family.

Director of The Young Life & Young Marrieds
Tim joined Mapleview in the summer of 2024. He’s passionate about pointing young adults to Jesus. Whether it’s through small group Bible studies, moments of worship and prayer, mission trips, or serving the community, his goal is to see people grow in their faith together. Tim has been married to Leah since 2006 and they have four kiddos. They met at Spring Bay Camp on Manitoulin Island as teens and have been in student ministry for over 20 years. They enjoy connecting with young adults, and going on dates while the kids are in school (Fridayyyys!). Psalm 37:4 has been their "life verse" - contentment in Christ is the greatest gain! Come say hey!
WillFerguson
Satellite Campus Pastor
Will has a deep passion for discipling others and walking alongside them as they grow in their walk with Christ. He loves gathering people around good meals and meaningful conversations, and brings genuine warmth and enthusiasm to every interaction. His heart is to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to pursue Jesus with purpose and joy.
Will has been married to his wife, Taylor, since 2020, and together they have three beautiful children. He is a true foodie and coffee connoisseur.

Director of Wired
Ryan has been part of Mapleview for 19 years and has led our junior high ministry, WIRED, since 2010. He’s passionate about helping the next generation of junior high students connect, serve, and make their faith their own. Having travelled around the world on missions, Ryan carries a deep love for people everywhere and a heart to see God’s love shared across cultures. Ryan is married to his beautiful wife Ashley they have three amazing kids.

Director of Production
Chase joined our team in the beginning of 2020. He is our full-time Production Director, responsible for everything from sound, livestream and lighting happening with excellence every Sunday. He is passionate about bringing creativity into all ministries at Mapleview.
He is married to Brooke and they have three amazing children.
CarlaSmall
Director of Creative Arts
Carla is an ordained minister with the PAOC and has been involved in ministry, both in and outside the church since 2000. She is married to Jason Small and has two adult children. She studied at Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and has a Bachelors Degree in Theology and Cross Cultural Studies. Carla loves all things musical, theatrical and artsy. She is passionate about worship and creative expressions that bring glory to God, and is excited to be a part of the Mapleview team.

Director of Worship
In the summer of 2021, Tony joined the Mapleview staff. He is grateful to be able to combine his talent and love for music with other musicians to glorify Jesus in worship. His musical background over the past 30 years includes, playing and touring with multiple artists, teaching guitar, being a session musician on hundreds of projects, and writing and recording music for original bands, and a variety of soundtrack work.
Tony and his wife, Sheri, and their kids, Carter and Ava, have been actively involved in the mission of Mapleview for over 10 years.

Director of Operations & Facilities
Since 2023, Tim can be found working mostly behind the scenes, ensuring the church runs smoothly - from maintaining the building to coordinating projects and events, and making sure that every area of ministry has what they need to operate smoothly. Tim is passionate about creating spaces where vision becomes reality and where excellence in the details helps ministry flourish. His heart is to serve faithfully, support the team, and make sure everything at Mapleview reflects care and purpose.

Videography & Social Media
Dina serves on the Production Team, creating video content and visuals for Mapleview. Creativity has been an important part of her life since growing up, and with a background in videography, photography, and content design, she loves capturing moments that help people connect with God and with each other. Whether behind the camera or shaping content during the week, Dina is passionate about creating meaningful, thoughtful visuals that support the heart and message of Mapleview and inspire our community.

Graphics & Roadsign Manager
Kaylie joined the Mapleview team in 2021 and designs various digital and print graphics seen around the church. She has attended Mapleview since 2012 and has served on the Production Team in various roles since 2017. Kaylie studied digital media production at Georgian College and works as a freelance web designer and photographer in her spare time. She is passionate about continuously learning and using her skills to bring glory to God.

Graphics & Social Media
As part of the Mapleview Production Team, Jillian manages social media and graphics. She grew up at Mapleview and returned after taking time to travel Europe, and now attends and enjoys community and life at Mapleview. She has a visual arts college diploma from Sheridan College, a certificate from Capernwray Bible School in England, and a graphic design Advanced Diploma from Seneca College. She enjoys staying up-to-date on fashion and creative trends and is so grateful to have opportunities to use her creative gifts for the glory of God.

Director of Custodial Services
Saralyn moved to Barrie in 2023 with her husband Tim and their three adult children Kyler, Alisha and Hailey. After serving for many years at her previous church in a variety of roles, Saralyn is honoured and thankful to have joined the Mapleview staff in 2024, as she finds joy in serving by keeping our church clean and inviting to all who enter.

Director of Church Engagement
Ashley began serving on the Mapleview team in March of 2025. It is her passion to serve and see lives transformed by the grace of God and the love of Jesus Christ. She hopes everyone who comes through the doors will find a warm community to be a part of as they grow in their faith.
Ashley is married to her best friend Shawn, and is blessed to be the mother of three amazing children. She enjoys music, spending time with her family and friends, and coffee - lots of coffee!

Assistant Support to The Kid Life
Chantal serves alongside The Kid Life director, Joanna Ratz. She began volunteering in our kid’s ministry in 2023 and became part of the staff in Fall of 2024. She enjoys serving all the children and families that walk through our doors. She has a passion for growing and teaching young minds to have a heart for Jesus.
Chantal has two children, Matteo and Ellena, who she adores, and in her free time loves to spend quality time with her family and friends.

Finance Administrator
Heather joined the Mapleview staff in March 2025. She and her husband, Richard, have been attending Mapleview since 1998 and have served in various volunteer roles within the church over the years. She has two adult daughters and in her free time enjoys reading, music, line dancing, and exploring nature either through hiking, cycling or jet skiing.

Director of Wired AM
Nicholas serves in youth discipleship, including our Wired AM Junior High and The Student Life ministries, investing in students from grades 5-12 as they grow in both faith and character. He is passionate about helping the next generation in their walks with Jesus and living out their calling with confidence. He is completing his Ministry Leadership degree at Master’s College and Seminary. He and his fiancee, Amber, share a heart for ministry and love seeing the youth encounter Christ and discover true joy in Him.
