JOHN 3:16

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Eternity - It’s about Time!

Eternal means “Perpetual time” – God has made time to march on forever. This includes times past and times future. For us, eternity began at conception. The consequence being that everyone born will live forever somewhere. Either in Heaven or in Hell. Note: no scientist has ever been able to prove that Hell does not exist. Also worthy of note, is the fact that eternal time will continue like today’s time. Twenty four hours in a day, sixty minutes in an hour, sixty seconds in a minute.

Genesis 8:22 tells us that fact. "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."

Time is absolute and will tick by as we know it without change. This makes your eternal destination a serious outcome to consider. To make a wrong choice in the matter will be terrifyingly costly.

Having your sins forgiven is essential if you are to avoid the punishment of Hell and enjoy the Glory of Heaven.

Some may choose to make jokes regarding Heaven and Hell. Yet from the start of your life to the end of your life, this is no joking matter. Eternity is a long time to have made a wrong choice. Only through accepting Christ as saviour will you enjoy eternal life in Heaven.

In John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Don’t put it off – be part of the multitude already rejoicing in Heaven.

God is real. He sees you and knows you. He wants you to know Him. You can know God by agreeing with Him about the following truths:

Fact #2

WE ARE ALL SINNERS

"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”

Romans 3:23

The Scripture tells us that everyone sins: good people, people you admire, even people who help people. We sin because we are sinners. Adam and Eve sinned, and we as their descendants, have inherited their nature. We need help. We cannot stop sinning by ourselves. God knows this and has made a way to deal with our never-ending sin problem.

Fact #3

GOD SENT HIS SON TO DIE FOR OUR SINS

"God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:8

Jesus Christ, God's Son, provided the only way for us to have peace with God. Jesus is sinless, because He is God. He died on the cross for our sins. God accepted what His Son did on our behalf. A pure and holy sacrifice was made for a sinful and needy mankind. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man’s sin.

Fact #4

BY FAITH, WE RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST INTO OUR HEARTS, AND EXPERIENCE WHAT SCRIPTURE CALLS A "NEW BIRTH"

"To all who received Him, to those who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God."

1 John 1: 12

We receive Jesus Christ by faith into our hearts when we:

Admit we are sinners.
Are sorry for our sins and desire to change our way of life.
Believe we have forgiveness because Jesus paid the debt of our sin with His own blood. The Father loves, accepts, and forgives us because of Jesus.

Fact #5

ALL WHO RECEIVE CHRIST RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE!

"God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe In the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you Have eternal life.”

1 John 5:11-13

Thank God that his son Jesus Christ can be part of your life. He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5). You can now have eternal life and an eternal home in Heaven. You can have this not because you are good or deserving, but because Jesus made a way by laying down His life for you, that you may have everlasting life in Him!

By praying the simple prayer of salvation written below, you can be saved.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Dear Lord Jesus,

I thank you that you came to earth to shed your blood for me, a sinner.

Today I acknowledge that you truly are the Son of the Living God and I am asking that you would forgive me of all my sin, of all my iniquity, and of all my transgressions.

Today I want to receive you as my personal Lord and Saviour. By faith, I give you my life from this day onward and will serve you with all my heart, with my entire mind, with all my strength now and forever.

Thank you Lord Jesus for making me your child and granting me eternal life in Heaven.

I pray all these things in Jesus’ strong name.

Rev. 21:27 Nothing dirty or defiled will get into the City, and no one who defiles or deceives. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will get in.
